Colin Holyk’s positive energy is infectious, and this serves him well as he caters to new, regular and even a third generation of customers at Kerrisdale Pharmacy, which he runs with his business partner and pharmacist Eugene Mar.
Michael Holyk, Colin's father, operated Kerrisdale Pharmacy from 1981 until his passing in December 2012. Colin and Eugene have continued to maintain a focus on comprehensive health care, a wide scope of services including compounding, and good, honest empathy for each person who walks through their door. “The hours are long, but there’s a real sense of family between us and our customers, so the effort is worth it,” Colin says.
