Pharmacist Gary Wong has owned Macdonald’s Prescriptions #3 for over
25 years and first joined the store as a university graduate in 1978. He clearly loves serving his customers, and they in turn keep coming back. “It’s gotten to the point where I’m filling prescriptions for adults who used to drop by when they were kids and be told by their parents, `Go say hi to Gary,’” he laughs.
At 2,400 square feet, Macdonald’s is spacious, but Wong stresses that everything in his pharmacy is geared towards health care. “That’s what we’re here for: keeping everyone well. That, and putting a smile on peoples’ faces.”
